About the 2026 Travel Program
The RYBA board is actively planning for the 2026 summer season. Find details below about the upcoming season. More information will be shared as planning progresses.
- The number of travel teams at each age level will be determined by the number of players demonstrating interest in the travel program for 2026 as determined by survey results and historical participation. Ideally RYBA is able to form at least 1 team at each level: AAA, AA, and A.
 - 2 practices per week either M/W or T/TH.
 - All teams will play in the Metro Baseball League which will consist of 12 to 16 league games. Half the games will be home games in Rochester; the other half of games will be away from Rochester. Depending on your level of play those games could be against South Metro area teams that are in your region. These games will be played during the week.
 - Each travel team will play 4 regular season tournaments (with 1 of them being a home tournament) and may qualify for up to 2 state tournaments. The 4 regular season tournaments plus 1 state tournament will be covered by RYBA registration fees. If the team qualifies and wishes to play in a 2nd state tournament, those tournament fees must be paid for out of pocket by the team.
 - All teams can earn a birth to their state tournaments. One state tournament will be paid for by RYBA
 - Tryouts will be February 16th at RCTC in the dome. This is the only day for tryouts.
